Fox has released a new featurette for tonight's "Gotham" episode focusing on the origin of one of Batman's most notorious villains. As the follow-up to last week's "The Fearsome Dr. Crane" installment, "The Scarecrow" finds Dr. Gerald Crane (Julian Sands) taking his war against fear to another level. As revealed in the newly released footage, his teenage son Jonathan (Charlie Tahan) gets caught in the crossfire.

The clip includes interviews with series leads Ben McKenzie and Donal Logue who discuss the latest off kilter threat that Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock will come up against. "[Dr. Gerald Crane] blames fear, the existence of fear, for the fact that he could not save his wife," explains McKenzie.

"He's so fearful of being fearful that he's worked out this kind of ingenious plan to attack it physiologically," adds Logue in the featurette. You can check out the video below and catch "The Scarecrow" episode of "Gotham" tonight on Fox.
