Suicide Squad star Jared Leto simply can't say enough about Wonder Woman, the critically acclaimed Warner Bros. film that's already earned more than $600 million worldwide. However, when it comes to the possibility of him reprising his role as The Joker in Gotham City Sirens, the Oscar winner is a more tight-lipped.

"I thought it was incredible," Leto told Entertainment Tonight when asked about Wonder Woman. "They did such a good job. I watched Wonder Woman as a kid, I really enjoyed it. I was on the road with my band, 30 Seconds to Mars, and we rented out a theater, and brought the whole crew, and it was really fun. All of us enjoyed it."
When the subject turned to Gotham City Sirens, the announced Suicide Squad spinoff starring Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Leto tried to thread the needle. Is there a chance his Clown Prince of Crime will reunite with Harley in the film?

"I have no idea," he admitted before adding, "Y'know, I can't confirm -- maybe I know -- but I can't confirm or deny. There are a lot of moving parts for that stuff, and we'll see what happens next."
That's a decidedly different tone for Leto, who seems to delight in teasing fans online with hints that they may not have seen the last of his DC Extended Universe character. With The Batman, Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens, the odds are likely pretty good that The Joker will be back, even if only for a cameo.
Directed by Suicide Squad's David Ayer, Gotham City Sirens is believed to be inspired by the DC Comics title of the same name, which teamed Harley Quinn with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. No targeted release date has been announced.
