TV Line has learned that Maggie Geha has won the role of Poison Ivy on "Gotham." The role has been recast for the show's third season, and TV Line now knows why: the character, previously a teenager, will be reborn as a 19-year-old villain following an encounter with a "monster from Indian Hill."

Geha, who previously appeared on the soap opera "All My Children," replaces actor Clare Foley, who played the character when she was in the same age range as the show's teenage Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova). Now that Poison Ivy's fully a villain, the announcement says she'll harness the "full power of her charms" and go after the teenage Wayne.

Geha is the latest addition made to "Gotham's" season three cast; yesterday, "Once Upon a Time" alum Jamie Chung joined the show in the role of Gotham Gazette reporter Valerie Vale.

"Gotham" is set to return for its third season on Monday, September 19 at 8 PM ET.
