Ghost Rider 2, Hellboy 3, MIB 3: Oct 1 Comic Reel

Heat Vision reports Ciaran Hinds is in talks to play the Devil in the film. That’s right, The Devil. “The story sees Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider (Cage), hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is recruited by a sect to take on the devil (Hinds), who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the boy’s birthday.” Hinds was awesome in “Rome”, so any chance to see him in a comic book movie is welcome. The same article notes Violante Placido is also in talks to play the mother of the boy The Devil wants to possesses.

Release date: February 17th, 2012

Want to know the plot of the film? Guillermo del Toro tells MTV News he’s willing to share … if you catch him:

Release date: TBA

Heat Vision also reports Emma Thompson is negotiating to take a part in the sequel. According to the article, “Thompson will play take-charge MIB operative Agent Oh, who is monitoring a prison breakout.”

Release date: May 25, 2012

Bleeding Cool reports the first scene of the original “X-Men” film, the concentration camp scene, will be recreated for the new production. “According to Bleeding Cool’;s sources, this sequence plays out shot-for-shot in the upcoming X-Men: First Class … at least, up to a point,” writes Bleeding Cool Brenden Connelly. “The casting is different too, of course – this time around, the tremendous Bill Milner is playing Lensherr – and when the sequence does deviate, it’s with some very dramatic twists … which we’ll be keeping under our hats for now, I’m afraid.” Always teasing the story, that bunch.

Release date: June 3rd, 2011

Karl Urban tells IGN a little bit a bout the film. “It’s a day-in-the-life of Dredd as he gets to put his rookie – Anderson – through her paces. It’s going to be hardcore,” says the actor. “We’ve got a really great script and we’re putting together a really fantastic cast. Pete Travis is directing and we’re going to start shooting in about eight weeks in South Africa.” As crazy as it seems, there will be a new “Dredd” movie.

Release date: TBA

Ryan Reynolds tells JoBlo, “I’ve never really realized how tiny a cog the actor is in a movie like that. The scope is so enormous, and Martin Campbell is marshaling such massive forces in many different departments to get this together. I feel like THE GREEN LANTERN is one of those films that really starts in post-production. Lots of news will be coming up in the next few months, that’s for sure.”

Starring Ryan Reynolds, release date: June 17th, 2011

According to Pietro Filipponi at The Daily Blam!, Robert England will be voicing a villain on the series. “It appears he will be voicing the evil, alien arachnid Myglom of the Spider Guild. Long time enemies to the Green Lantern Corps, the Spider Guild are a coalition of Arachnid aliens, comprised of drones who answer to a central computer control at Wombworld,” he writes.
