It seems the season 5 premiere of "Arrow" will contain a little easter egg for the show's more eagle-eyed fans – a "police sketch" by artist George Pérez, whose previous comics work includes pencils on both "Crisis on Infinite Earths" and "The Infinity Gauntlet" as well as inks on the New 52 "Green Arrow" series. He also co-created the character Vigilante who's set to debut in the show this season.

The show's producer, Marc Guggenheim, posted the Pérez pic on his official Twitter account, along with the message: "Thanks to George Pérez, who graciously provided this “police sketch” for Arrow’s 5th Season Premiere." The sketch, fittingly, is of Vigilante himself.

As the name suggests, Vigilante is attempting to get personally involved in the administration of justice on the streets of Star City. What will its new mayor have to say about that?

“Arrow”s fifth season premieres on The CW on Wednesday, October 5.
