Renowned for his hyper-detailed art and over-the-top action sequences, Geof Darrow is an artist with an very distinctive style and approach to comics. Nowhere is this more evident than in his own series "The Shaolin Cowboy," which chronicles the often-surreal adventures of a taciturn martial-artist monk with a price on his head.

Now, after several years spent working on other projects, including an unsuccessful attempt to turn "The Shaolin Cowboy" into an animated feature, Darrow is set to write and illustrate a new four-part series from Dark Horse titled "The Shaolin Cowboy: Who’ll Stop the Reign?"

While Darrow will provide the main cover art, the title will also boast a special variant cover drawn by his occasional collaborator Frank Miller, with whom he produced the sci-fi epics "Hard Boiled" and "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot."
