The first full-length trailer has arrived for the seventh season of HBO's Game of Thrones, promising action on an epic scale.

Cersei (Lena Heady) seems to be counting her enemies; she's completely surrounded by them, but at least she still has Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), the Lannister army and the zombified Mountain, sporting what appears to be a new suit of armor as head of the Queen's Guard, at her side.

The time for counting is soon over, and we swiftly move on to see Dany's first moments in Westerns as she arrives at what looks to be Dragonstone, the ancestral seat of her Targaryen forebears. There are also plenty of shots of the Unsullied in action in what looks to be a Lannister castle, perhaps even Casterly Rock itself, a location that has not yet been seen on the show.

As you might expect from the first full trailer for the penultimate season of the hit drama, most of the main characters still standing get a few seconds of screen time -- including Masie William's Arya, who looks like she has made it back to the North.

As ever, it's Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) who appears to be making the most sense, saying "If we don't put aside out enmities and band together we will die. And then it doesn't matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne." Hopefully that, along with Jon Snow's (Kit Harrington) warning that "The Great War is here," will be enough to keep the northern alliance away from Dany's dragons, not to mention her Dothraki hoard, waving there arakhs in the air like they just don't care.

Debuting on July 16 HBO, the seventh season of Game of Thrones is a production of HBO developed for television by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss starring Peter Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Aidan Gillen, Liam Cunningham, Carice van Houten and Rory McCann.
