Warning: massive spoilers from the latest episode of Game of Thrones lie ahead.

Losing loved ones is never easy, even when they're fictional. That lesson was learned the hard way in Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones, "The Rains of Castamere," in which three of the show's most beloved characters — King in the North Robb Stark, his pregnant wife Talisa and his mother Catelyn Stark — were all betrayed and brutally butchered during a wedding ceremony.

If you're still reeling from the Red Wedding, and need closure on the traumatic events of the episode … well, there's not much that can help you there. But here are a few updates from the Game of Thrones world to keep you occupied while you wait for this Sunday's season finale:

» Producers and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss opened up in a nine-minute featurette all about the Red Wedding, including their reactions to reading the chapter in George R.R. Martin's novel A Storm of Swords for the first time, and why the event is so powerful for readers and viewers alike.

» Speaking of readers, perhaps you're only a fan of Game of Thrones, and haven't yet exposed yourself to the A Song of Ice and Fire novels on which the show is based. If you're interested in reading the Red Wedding chapters to gain a new perspective, the pivotal scene is now online, thanks to Harper Collins UK. The chapter is told from the point of view of the  ill-fated Catelyn. [via Zap2It]

» Although Catelyn is gone, her spirit lives on. Actress Michelle Fairley, who played Catelyn over three seasons, has already booked a major arc on the upcoming third season of USA Network's Suits. She'll play the head of a successful oil company, suddenly faced with a lawsuit that could bring her entire business to an end. EW.com first reported the news.

» Finally, if you're still looking for someone to blame for the Red Wedding, don't look at Martin, Benioff or Weiss. In a dramatic twist of fate, the real blame lies with … Coldplay? [via Gawker]
