Comic book fans love debating which of their favorites characters is the strongest. While more common match-ups have included Batman vs. Superman and even Wonder Woman vs. Superman, there’s a large segment of readers who’ve pondered the prospect of a fight between DC Comics' Wonder Woman and Marvel Comics' Thor.RELATED: Wonder Woman Composer Reveals Batman v Superman’s Influence on ScoreIn a recent interview with Yahoo! News anchor Katie Couric, Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot was asked who would win in a fight between the two decades-old superheroes. Gadot took a moment to answer, and then shot the question over to Thor: Ragnarok's Chris Hemsworth.“They ask me who would win, Wonder Woman or Thor,” Gadot said. “And I think it’s Wonder Woman. Don’t you, Chris?”Just like his movie counterpart -- never one to shirk away from a fight -- Hemsworth responded with an answer many may find surprising. The actor was more than willing to relinquish the title of strength over to Wonder Woman, claiming the Amazonian princess would prove victorious.

While odds are good that comic book fans will never get to see a throw down between the two godly heroes on the big screen, Thor and Wonder Woman have met before in those few moments Marvel and DC have come together, like the Avengers/JLA crossover. Though, in that match-up, Thor fought Superman, it would be interesting to see Wonder Woman face off against the Norse deity. After all, they do have a great deal in common, as they both have enchanted weaponry and are magical beings in nature.

It’d be even more interesting to hear what the two actors envisioned in a face-off between the two, and how such a battle would take place. Does Wonder Woman use her super-speed and lasso to end the fight in moments, or does Thor’s lightning simply not effect her, giving the Amazon the moment she needs to take down the physically larger god?

At the end of the day, the real question is: Who do you think would win?
