Release date: April 2009.

GRAYSONS

At least “Birds of Prey” got on the air — according to Variety, the network has cancelled the series about the child who would be the Bat’s ward … while it was still in pre-production, before a script had even been penned.

Release date: not applicable.

THE LOSERS

Speaking of Variety, the trade publication also reported that director Sylvain White has replaced “Fantastic Four” helmer Tim Story in adapting the Vertigo project. The plan is for production to begin early next year.

No release date announced.

DRAGONBALL

A scooper at Comic Book Movie showing the lead character transformed into some strange ape-like creature.

Release date: April 8, 2009.

30 MORE DAYS OF NIGHT

A piece at Bloody Disgusting implies that the Alaskan vampires will be back for more in a sequel.

No release date announced.

THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

CBR News has a feature article about some of the makers of the new animated series.

Series premiere: November 14, 2009, “Rise of the Blue Beetle.”

PREACHER

Director Sam Mendes told Empire Online that reports of his involvement were a bit premature. “Basically they should have written, ‘Mendes in development with Preacher’. What I’m doing is, I’ve gotta find a script. I’ve just got to get it written.””

No release date announced.
