FX already has a winner in the animated comedy Archer, and now the cable network is looking to make that same magic happen again with a new project from Seth Rogen.

Deadline reports FX is developing an animated take on Graham Roumieu's faux Bigfoot autobiographical graphic novels. The three books, called In Me Own Words, Me Write Book and I Not Dead, tell the story of a "bipolar hopeless romantic that lacks the ability to properly express himself, living in both the human and animal world of Pine Falls but not quite fitting in to either one."

Rogen will executive produce the project alongside partner Evan Goldberg under their Point Grey Pictures banner. American Dad's Matt McKenna is writing the pilot. Also executive producing are McKenna, Floyd County Prods. and Mosaic's Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen. It's unclear if Rogen will voice the project as well as produce it, but he would definitely be a good person to play the character of Bigfoot.

This isn't the only animated comedy FX has in the works. The network, which recently split its comedy and drama shows across two channels, also ordered a series called Chosen that's executive produced by Danny McBride.
