If you’re part of the Tanner family, it turns out you can go home again. That’s the prevailing sentiment behind Netflix’s first teaser for “Fuller House,” the sequel series to the ’90s sitcom “Full House,” which starts out with loving shots of the Tanner family’s San Francisco home set to Miranda Lambert’s appropriate “The House That Built Me.”
But aside from the titular jam-packed house, the sitcom was also known for it’s seemingly endless supply of catch phrases. As outside footsteps approach the front door, we hear a couple of the show’s memorable lines uttered by Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) and Joey (Dave Coulier). They could have — should have? — also worked in a “How rude” from Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). The show now has a premiere date, too: February 26.
“Fuller House” follows DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) as her younger sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber) move in and help her raise her three sons. Original series stars Stamos, Coulier, Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin have recurring roles on the series.
All 13 episodes of “Fuller House” premiere on Netflix on February 26.
