Deadline reports that the short film based on Disney's blockbuster Frozen will debut alongside the live-action adaptation of Cinderella in March 2015. Frozen Fever will include the behind-the-scenes team on Frozen, including directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez as well as producers Peter Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner. The short film picks up after Frozen, setting its sights on Anna's birthday as Elsa and Kristoff attempt to pull off a celebration in spite of complications caused by Elsa's ice powers.

Starring Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad, Frozen debuted in 2013 and quickly became the highest-grossing animated film of all time, pulling in nearly $1.3 billion in worldwide box office take, winning two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe and many more. Frozen Fever will hit theaters alongside Disney's Cinderella on March 13, 2015.
