Warm up those pottery wheels, because Ghost might be making a comeback.

Variety reports that Fringe writers and producers Akiva Goldsman and Jeff Pinkner are looking to reboot the supernatural romance tale with Paramount Television.

The 1990 Jerry Zucker film starred Patrick Swayze as a murdered man who has to communicate with his wife (Demi Moore) through a medium played by Whoopi Goldberg. Ghost was a big success, earning nearly $506 million worldwide.

In addition to Fringe, Goldsman wrote films like Batman & Robin, The Da Vinci Code and I Am Legend, while Pinkner penned four episodes of Lost and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, so they each have a background in mixing action with supernatural drama.

At this point, they don't have a network set up just yet.
