There's still plenty of purging to do, and it looks like Frank Grillo is the man to do it: Variety has word that the actor, who starred in last year's "The Purge: Anarchy," is in "final negotiations" to star in "The Purge 3."

According to the report, Grillo's schedule on the DirecTV series "Kingdom" looked to potentially inhibit his availability for "The Purge 3," but all that's been resolved. "Purge" creator James DeMonaco will write and direct the third installment, as he did the first two films.

"The Purge 3" has a scheduled release date of July 1, 2016. Before that, Grillo will reprise his role as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones in "Captain America: Civil War," scheduled for May 6, 2016.
