"American Crime Story" actress Keesha Sharp has joined Fox's "Lethal Weapon," pilot, replacing Golden Brooks. According to Deadline, the decision was made last night following the table read.

Based on the hit action-comedy franchise, "Lethal Weapon" stars Clayne Crawford as Martin Riggs, a former Texas cop and Navy SEAL who moves to Los Angeles for a fresh start following the loss of his wife and baby. There, he’s partnered with veteran LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans Sr.) who, having recently suffered a minor heart attack, must avoid stress.

Sharp will play Murtaugh's perceptive and loving wife Trish, who's not thrilled when she learns about her husband's adrenaline-crazed new partner.

Directed by McG from a script by Matt Miller (“Chuck”), the pilot also stars Jordana Brewster as Dr. Maureen “Mo” Cahill, the LAPD’s hostage negotiator and in-house therapist, and Kevin Rahm (“Mad Men”) as LAPD Captain Avery.
