On the heels of its Season 3 renewal, Fox's "Lucifer" is reportedly moving production from Vancouver to Los Angeles. It's only fitting, considering the supernatural police procedural is set in the City of Angels.

According to Deadline, the series submitted a tax-credit application last month to the California Film Commission, which is expected to announce the latest round of recipients on March 20. "Lucifer's" cast and crew have already been notified of the planned relocation.

Based on the DC Comics/Vertigo character of the same name, "Lucifer" stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, who after becoming bored with his duties as Lord of Hell, relinquishes his throne and opens a piano bar in Los Angeles. There he gets his kicks helping the LAPD find and punish criminals.

Although the pilot was filmed in Los Angeles, production then moved to Vancouver, where such fellow Warner Bros. Television projects as "Supernatural," "The Flash," "Arrow" and "Supergirl" are shot.

Also starring Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer and Scarlett Estevez, the series will return from hiatus Monday, May 1, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
