The precogs probably didn't see this coming: Fox has cut the episode order for "Minority Report" from 13 to 10.

Despite generating a lot of buzz during pilot season, the sequel to Steven Spielberg's 2012 sci-fi thriller underwent last-minute retooling ahead of its lackluster Sept. 21 premiere. Its ratings have only slipped since then.

Set in Washington, D.C., a decade after the dismantling of Precrime — the law-enforcement agency tasked with identifying and eliminating criminals, before their crimes were committed — the series follows precog Dash (Stark Sands), who’s returned in secret to help police detective Lara Vega (Meagan Good) attempt to stop the murders from his terrifying visions.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Minority Report's" 10th episode, originally planned as the fall finale, will now serve as the season finale. And very possibly the series finale.

"Minority Report" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
