Season three of the CW's "Flash" series will see many changes come to the network's shared universe of DC superhero shows. For one thing, Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) trip to the past in the season two finale to save his mother's life has changed the course of the timeline. With his mother now alive, pretty much every single thing we know about "The Flash" (and a few things about other shows like "Arrow") will be changed. And with that change comes a new "Flash" cast member: Tom Felton.

While speaking with SciFiNow, Felton -- known to most for his role as Draco Malfoy in the "Harry Potter" film franchise -- revealed what he can about CSI Julian Dorn, Barry Allen's new partner in the alternate Flashpoint reality.

“He’s a forensic expert, so he treads on the toes of much of what Barry is good at," said Felton. "Hence they have a slightly abrasive relationship at first. I say abrasive, but I mean that -- clearly because of the events of the season -- none of the relationships that Barry has had with other cast members is the same."

As Barry is a new arrival to this alternate timeline, he won't initially be aware of how his relationships with his friends have been changed -- or, in some cases, totally erased. “He’s not familiar with me, but I’m familiar with him, so it’s an odd dynamic," said Felton. "It seems like a love/hate thing at first.”

"The Flash" returns to the CW for season three on Tuesday, October 4 at 8 PM ET.
