The Flash fans won't have to wait until December to get a first look at "Crisis on Infinite Earths," this year's mega Arrowverse crossover. In a new teaser for Season 6, Barry Allen gets a glimpse of the future, and it's just as bad as the Monitor warned it would be.

The teaser opens with Barry getting hooked up to a metal device. "I saw billions of possible futures," he whispered in a voice-over narration. "Billions of deaths. We can't stop what's coming." As he spoke, a tear rolled down his cheek, while flashes of this future showed the destruction of STAR Labs.

It's no secret that The Flash will feel the effects of "Crisis" throughout Season 6. At Comic-Con International in San Diego, showrunner Eric Wallace confirmed the show will build up to the crossover, then deal with the fallout when it's over. Indeed, the team's AI Gideon will weigh in on the fact that "Crisis" has bumped up from April 24, 2024 to 2019 in the premiere episode. The Monitor, who warned of the "Crisis" to come in last year's crossover, will also put in an appearance in the Season 6 premiere.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet and Hartley Sawyer.
