In August, a rumor began circulating that Cyborg is slated to make an appearance in DC Films' upcoming Flash movie. Director Rick Famuyiwa, known for the critically acclaimed "Dope," quickly slowed the hype train with a tweet in response to Variety's initial report confirming the fellow Justice Leaguer's role in the movie.

While the tweet doesn't exactly deny the rumor, it did cast a cloud a cloud of doubt over it. Now, it seems Famuyiwa was indeed simply putting up a smoke screen, or a decision was made after the fact to include Cyborg, as the director has now shared this image on his personal Twitter account.

It wasn't very long before fans started calling out Flash's Funko pop guest at the top of the image.

Variety previously reported, via unrevealed sources, that Ray Fisher's Cyborg would be adding a "Flash" appearance to his "Justice League" role. It wasn't known the extent of his appearance in the film, though the decision was reportedly made to garner excitement for the character and his future solo feature. The new tweet from Famuyiwa seems quite deliberate, including the fact that the characters are on top of "current revisions."
