Fox has premiered a bleak first trailer for director Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" that focuses largely on the stars of the original trilogy, establishing their desperate plan to send Wolverine back in time to change the present. Along the way, we're also treated to glimpses of the group's expanded roster, including Blink, Bishop and more.

"I don't want your suffering," James McAvoy's young Charles Xavier shouts. "I don't want your future!"

"Please," Patrick Stewart's older Xavier responds. "We need you to hope again."
