After four Transformers movies -- and a fifth one reportedly on the way -- Michael Bay is turning to considerably more serious, reality-based material with the upcoming "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi," his latest directorial effort. Starring an ensemble cast including James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber and Toby Stephens, "13 Hours" is based on the true story of six soldiers who defended an American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, following an attack, on the one-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Based on the novel "13 Hours" by Mitchell Zuckoff, "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" is scheduled for release on Jan. 15, 2016.
