"Aquaman" #17.

This Wednesday, the latest issue of DC Comics "Aquaman" hit the stands and offered up a surprise twist at the heart of the current "Throne of Atlantis" crossover with "Justice League." But the publisher is quick to remind readers that the creative team of Geoff Johns and Paul Pelletier aren't done yet, releasing a first look preview inside next month's "Aquaman" #17 this morning.

On sale in February, the book promises to explore the fallout from "Throne of Atlantis" while also introducing a few faces old and new to the series. Aside from brand-new Aquaman supporting cast member Murk as well as a new villain, the issue will also feature a New 52 appearance by cult classic DC heroes the Sea Devils.
