Empire has the first look at Tom Hiddleston in High-Rise, the upcoming thriller from Ben Wheatley, director of The ABCs of Death and A Field in England.

Based on the novel by J.G. Ballard, the film chronicles the breakdown of class and social structures within a new high-tech London building as its residents, living in an isolated community, begin to give in to animalistic impulses and fracture into tribes. Hiddleston stars as Dr Robert Laing, the film's antihero.

High-Rise's impressive cast also includes Jeremy Irons, Sienna Miller, Luke Evans, Elisabeth Moss and James Purefoy. The film is set for release later this year.
