Between trailers for the Hank Williams biopic "I Saw the Light" and the creepy dystopian thriller "High-Rise," Tom Hiddleston has been on a roll these past few weeks. Now the "Thor" veteran closes out the month (and the year) in the first image from AMC's "The Night Manager," which arrives courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

Developed in partnership with BBC One, the limited series is based on John le Carre’s 1993 spy novel of the same name and follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston), who’s recruited by an operative (Olivia Colman of “Broadchurch”) to infiltrate an alliance operating between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. However, to penetrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Onslow Roper (Hugh Laurie), Pine finds he must become a criminal himself.

“The best way I can describe the story is the thriller equivalent of a bromance,” executive producer Stephen Garrett tells EW.

"The Night Manager" will air in April on AMC and BBC One.
