Bryan Singer has been the man responsible for giving away the biggest reveals about X-Men: Days of Future Past. He showed us photos of Wolverine, Iceman, Professor X and Magneto. He promised that Bishop, Warpath and Storm will be in the new movie. And now he's given us our first look at Kitty Pryde.

Ellen Page had a relatively small party as Kitty in X-Men: The Last Stand, but her career took off in the years afterwards thanks to roles in movies like Juno, Inception and Super. That's likely why the news that she will reprise her role as Kitty was met with such excitement early on in The Last Stand's development process.

The picture Singer posted to his Twitter account doesn't reveal many spoilers, but it does show Kitty's new sense of style. Also, it sure looks like she's staring up at Shawn Ashmore's Iceman in this shot. "Hello, Kitty @EllenPage #XMen #DaysofFuturePast," Singer tweets.

Opening July 18, 2014, Days of Future Past takes its name from the classic 1981 Marvel comics story by Chris Claremont and John Byrne that depicts a timeline created by the X-Men’s failure to prevent the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants from assassinating a U.S. senator. In that alternate future, the giant robotic Sentinels have become the de facto rulers of the United States, where mutants are hunted down and placed in internment camps. Kitty Pryde plays a major part in revealing the terrible dystopian future to the young mutants, and presumably she'll do the same in this movie.

The film also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Peter Dinklage, Daniel Cudmore, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Fan Bingbing and Adan Canto.
