The merchandise, clearly aimed at young viewers, includes 2-inch action figures with pop-off parts that can be mixed and match. The first wave, which arrives in stores next month, features The Flash, Superman, The Joker, Lex Luthor, Green Arrow, Blue Beetle, Firestorm and Wonder Woman.

The toymaker will also release three-packs containing pieces of Darkseid that can be collected and assembled into the ruler of Apokolips. The three-packs come with Lobo, Hawkman and Superman, Firestorm, Mr. Freeze and Batman, and Mogul, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

In the coming weeks, Mattel's "Justice League Action" line will also roll out masks, a Batman Transforming Batcycle (with Batman and an Atom Mighty Mini), and a Battle Wing Batman, with sound and a cape that turns into battle wings.
