Firestorm joins fellow newcomers Green Lantern, Doctor Fate and Swamp Thing on the roster of heroes choosing a side in the anticipated "Injustice 2," Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm's anticipated sequel to the original "Injustice: God Among Us" fighting game. The Nuclear Man joins the game as a member of Superman's regime, opting to take a stance battling Batman and his team.

The reveal comes via the latest episode of Up Up Down Down, the YouTube video game channel hosted by WWE superstars Xavier Woods his tag team partner, fellow New Day member Kofi Kingston, Sasha Banks, and the current WWE Raw Woman's Champion Bayley. The reveal comes around 5 minutes into the video below, followed by footage of the wrestlers playing the game and demonstrating the hero's long-range attacks with members of the NetherRealm team offering additional information about the hero and his abilities.

Developed by NetherRealm for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the sequel to the hit 2013 video game “Injustice: Gods Among Us” continues the storyline, with Batman and his allies work toward putting the pieces of society back together while struggling against those who want to restore Superman’s regime.
