The geek world has changed considerably. At one time, geeks were seen as outsiders, to be ridiculed and shunned by the “cool kids.” However, over the years, geek culture became more accepted. Video games, genre movies and TV shows, and even comic books became something that was no longer a hobby to hide to avoid wedgies and swirlies in the bathrooms at school. Now, in a world where the highest grossing movie of all time is a sci-fi flick about blue aliens and the second highest is a comic book adaptation, geek culture is suddenly hot. Kids can finally come out of hiding because even the most beautiful people now consider being a geek to be cool.

From movie stars and internet celebrities to models and TV stars, some of the most attractive people today are self-professed geeks. Here is a look at the 15 of the most gorgeous celebrity geeks alive today.

15 ADRIANNE CURRY

Cosplay rules the day when it comes to geek culture events, like Comic-Con. For a long time, there wasn’t a more gorgeous celebrity cosplay player than Adrianne Curry. The former winner of America’s Next Top Model quit cosplay back in 2015, but before that, there wasn’t anyone better in the celebrity world at cosplay than her, as she dressed up in just about anything and as everyone that geeks love.

Interestingly, Curry quitting cosplay was even more uniquely geeky because she said she didn’t enjoy it as much when it became mainstream. To understand Curry’s love of cosplay, she has dressed up as Aeon Flux, a Star Wars Imperial trooper, Princess Leia, Silk Spectre from Watchmen, Christie Monteiro from Tekken, Catwoman, and more. Honestly, Adrianne Curry has made every geek’s favorite characters sexy. Hell, she said once that she had a crush on Rorschach!

14 KATEE SACKHOFF

Katee Sackhoff seems to have made a career out of starring in geek-favorite properties and it doesn’t look like she is slowing down. She won over most geek’s hearts when she took on the gender-changed Starbuck in the Battlestar Galactica reboot and owned the role. She moved on to appear in the reboot of the classic sci-fi show, Bionic Woman, and then took her skills to the big screen in the action-based sci-fi franchise Riddick, along with fellow lover-of-all-things-geek, Vin Diesel.

Add in appearances on Big Bang Theory, Futurama and Robot Chicken, and delivering voice roles as Black Cat in the Spider-Man: Edge of Time video game, as well as Bo-Katan in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, and it is clear she isn’t hiding her geek love. She even took a role as the villain Blacksmith on CW’s The Flash.

13 MEGAN FOX

The cover girl for hot celebrity geeks for years has been Megan Fox. Forget about her appearances in geek culture movies like Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Jonah Hex. Fox has also proven to be a legitimate celebrity geek thanks to her legit love of comics and video games. While Fox has clarified that she doesn’t have the encyclopedic knowledge of geek culture like others, it still doesn’t diminish her love of all things geek.

Fox has admitted to growing up as a comic book fan. She has name-dropped books like X-Men, Gen 13 and Witchblade as favorites. She also excited a lot of fans when she admitted to liking “nerds.” She is also a gamer and was utterly obsessed with Halo for a number of years, with an Xbox Live account where she played against, and trolled, unsuspecting geeks the world over.

12 MORGAN WEBB

Morgan Webb made her name thanks to her love of the nerd world. She was a co-host and producer for X-Play on G4 and also wrote a monthly video game column called “Tips from the Gaming Console” for FHM. On top of her love of video games, this self-professed geek is also considered one of the world’s most beautiful women, appearing in Maxim magazine and listed for three years running in the FHM Sexiest Women of the World countdowns. Even Playboy joined in, naming her “TechTV’s Sexiest Techie.”

With both G4 and FHM gone, Morgan Webb has found a job that keeps her in the field she loves – working for video game companies. After a stint with Xbox, she hooked up with Activision Blizzard. She also hosts the monthly World of Warcraft discussion program and remains one of the most gorgeous celebrity geeks in the world.

11 MILA KUNIS

Mila Kunis became everyone’s favorite girl next door thanks to the TV series That ‘70s Show, which was itself enriched with pop culture references. Since then, she has filled her acting career with geek properties, from video game movie Max Payne and fantasy flick Oz the Great and Powerful to the sci-fi blockbuster Jupiter Ascending and voicing Meg Griffin on Family Guy. However, her acting career is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Kunis’ geek cred.

Kunis has said that she was severely addicted to the video game World of Warcraft. She even admitted that she had to quit playing the game because she was a “kick a** Mage” and was so good that it sucked her in too much. Between her obsession with video games and career acting in geek properties, she remains a huge favorite in the geek community.

10 ROSARIO DAWSON

Rosario Dawson has never shied away from starring in geek properties. She has starred in many comic book movies over the years, starting with Men in Black 2 and moving on to the role of one of the tough-as-nails characters in Sin City and its sequel. Dawson also has lent her voice to animated movies like Wonder Woman, the Justice League animated movies, and voiced Barbara Gordon in The Lego Batman Movie. Add in the Netflix Marvel shows as Claire Temple, and she has a lot of geek cred.

However, it is more than just starring in comic book movies for Dawson. The gorgeous actress has also created the comic book with Occult Crimes Taskforce, the main character of which, Sophia Ortiz, even shares her likeness. If all that wasn’t enough, Rosario Dawson is also a self-professed Trekkie and can speak Klingon.

9 OLIVIA MUNN

Olivia Munn was possibly one of the earliest gorgeous celebrity geeks to hit it big thanks to her love of nerdy pop culture. Munn worked in television news before she finally headed out to California and became a worldwide success story thanks to her role on the G4 series Attack of the Show. That's when Munn really started publicly dropping knowledge bombs about video games, pop culture and tech, proving her legitimate nerd cred.

For someone who has lived geek culture for her entire life, it was a no-brainer that, when Munn started taking on acting roles, it would be in geek properties as well. She appeared in Iron Man 2, X-Men: Apocalypse and The LEGO Ninjago Movie. She also will reprise her role as Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

8 JESSICA CHOBOT

In what has to be a first for any celebrity, Jessica Chobot gained her initial public notoriety when a photo of her licking the Sony PSP surfaced online. Sony used the picture in its advertising and Chobot became a huge geek celebrity favorite. The shot of her and the Sony PSP wasn’t a publicity stunt though, as Chobot is a huge video game fan. It was simply the opening salvo into a much more public love affair with the nerd industry.

Chobot also has a huge love of Japanese anime and manga, and has used her name and fame to help bring more fans to ADV’s Anime Network. On top of that, she has hosted a weekly IGN series called IGN Daily Fix and was the main host of Nerdist News, which focuses on pop culture geared towards geeks. She even wrote her own video game, titled Daylight.

7 RASHIDA JONES

Rashida Jones had one of her earliest TV roles in what is possibly the greatest series about geeks in the history of television. Jones portrayed Karen in an episode of Freaks and Geeks in 2000 before transitioning into a more mainstream series on Boston Public. While Freaks and Geeks was a great start for the now acclaimed actress, it was just the beginning as she has since lived up to the show’s name.

Jones hit her stride in more comedic roles and was a huge fan favorite on both The Office and Parks and Recreation, where she developed the comic timing that made her a star. The actress and model also worked as a comic book writer as well. In 2009, Jones created the comic series Frenemy of the State, which told the story of a socialite recruited by the CIA.

6 FELICIA DAY

Felicia Day is easily the geekiest geek in the world of gorgeous celebrities. There is no level of geek that Day doesn’t seem to love. She produced and starred in her own series on the Internet called The Guild, which focused on the world of MMORPG culture and the gaming world. After bringing in millions of fans to the show, she started to grow in popularity and even took a humorous outlook on things with music videos like “(Do You Wanna Date My) Avatar.”

In 2012, Day joined forces with fellow geek Will Wheaton, and the two co-hosted Tabletop, a show about their love of board games. Day also has a great acting career, with roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. Most recently, she excited geeks everywhere when she took part in the revival series Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return.

5 ALEXA BLISS

The WWE has a huge number of incredibly talented women wrestling on its roster, one of the  most ravishing of whom is Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss. She portrays the role of a conceited and arrogant heel in the world of professional wrestling, but there is something beneath the surface that betrays her elitist character. For all her biggest matches, Bliss comes to the ring in an outfit inspired by geek culture.

DC Comics villain Harley Quinn inspired the most famous of her outfits, and Bliss often looks for any chance she gets to geek out with her ring gear. That is because Alexa is a huge cosplay fan and a giant celebrity geek. Bliss has appeared at numerous Comic-Con events for the WWE and has developed a reputation of challenging her fans to video game competitions, many of which she wins hands down.

4 KATE BECKINSALE

Kate Beckinsale made her name by playing Selene in the immensely successful horror-fantasy action franchise Underworld. The gorgeous actress was married to director Len Wiseman (who created the Underworld series), and she credited him with helping build her love for geek culture – especially comic books. Beckinsale said that she loved to hit the comic book stores with her husband, and although she admits that she can’t compete with the obsession and knowledge of other geeks, she respects it.

Of course, Beckinsale was never as big of a geek fan as others on this list, but between her admiration of geek culture and the fact that she has made her name in geek movie properties, she remains one of the top geek celebrities. She also went to Oxford and had written a number of award-winning short stories, making her a proper nerd to boot!

3 JAIMIE ALEXANDER

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will instantly recognize Jaimie Alexander as the gorgeous Asgardian Goddess Sif from the Thor movies, as well as Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That wasn’t the first geek property for Alexander, as she also appeared in the television sci-fi series Kyle XY as a girl with superhuman powers. Alexander doesn’t seem to mind letting her geek side fly, as she often appears at children’s hospitals in full costume for the kids.

When asked, the gorgeous actress admitted that she has always been a comic book fan and has been since she was a little girl. While her primary job right now is for Marvel, she did admit that, while she would always wear a cape as a kid, it was Superman she was pretending to be. That's right, shocking though it may be, she is a fan of DC Comics over Marvel!

2 JANINA GAVANKAR

Janina Gavankar may have enjoyed her greatest success in the TV series The L Word, but she has also made sure that her love of video games has remained in the open with a number of smaller projects. She co-hosted G4’s Attack of the Show and also worked for Epileptic Gaming’s Up All Night. On top of that, she also appeared in geek shows like Stargate Atlantis, Dollhouse, Arrow and was the namesake character of the fantasy football trophy in The League.

On the video game front, the gorgeous Gavankar was the lead character, Amita, in Far Cry 4 and will portray one of the primary characters in Star Wars Battlefront II. Want even more geek cred? Gavankar was one of the first actresses ever to use the social media network Twitter. Janina was also the basis for Ms. Dewey, a Microsoft viral marketing campaign.

1 DANICA MCKELLER

Danica McKellar, best known as Winnie Cooper from The Wonder Years, is a geek in all the right ways. This gorgeous celebrity left Hollywood to go to college and became smarter than just about everyone you will ever know. She was summa cum laude at UCLA, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honors. Since then, she has used her celebrity and and smarts to write a slew of interesting, best-selling books.

Titles like “Kiss My Math,” “Hot X: Algebra Exposed” and “Girls Get Curves” may have risqué titles but McKellar wrote them to help middle school kids have the confidence to do well in math. Three of her books were New York Times bestsellers. Along the way, she hasn’t turned her back on acting, as she voiced Miss Martian in Young Justice.
