UPDATE 1/8/16 4:00 PM PT: The second season of “Fear The Walking Dead” is scheduled to debut on April 10. A previous version of this article contained an erroneous start date.
“Fear The Walking Dead” has a return date: The second season will debut Sunday, April 10 on AMC, as revealed by the network Friday at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour and reported by Deadline. Additionally, new installments of “Walking Dead” post-show “Talking Dead” will also run after “Fear The Walking Run” for season two.
Based on the massive success of “The Walking Dead,” “Fear The Walking Dead” — its Los Angeles-set spinoff that debuted last year — received a two-season order before the show even premiered.
Additionally, the network has released the first new image from “Fear The Walking Dead” season two:
“Fear The Walking Dead” season two will consist of 15 episodes, with seven airing in the spring and eight in the fall.
