AMC's Fear The Walking Dead continues this Sunday with the sixth episode of the third season, titled "Red Dirt." In a CBR-exclusive clip (view it above), Jake Otto (Sam Underwood) helps Alicia Clark (Alycia Debnam-Carey) with her marksmanship skills -- a useful talent to have in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

Of course, the scene isn't just about practicing aim -- it's also about Jake and Alicia discussing who will take over Broke Jaw Ranch after Jake's father, Jeremiah, and Jake being generally evasive when it comes to his future. "Your father wants it to be you," Alicia tells a reserved Jake. "People are going to look to somebody. And if it's not you...?"

Here's the network's official description for the episode: "news of incoming danger spreads throughout the community as Madison struggles to keep everyone together. Nick grapples with a hard truth."

The current season of Fear The Walking Dead premiered in early June. The series started in 2015 as a spinoff the AMC's highly successful The Walking Dead -- based on the Image Comics series by Robert Kirkman, Charlie Adlard and Tony Moore -- though it stars characters entirely new and not previously seen in either the main Walking Dead TV series or the comic book.

The latest episode of Fear The Walking Dead, "Red Dirt," airs 9 p.m. Sunday, July 2, on AMC.
