WARNING: Spoilers for the Sept. 4 episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" ahead. Proceed with caution.

Walkers. Lurkers. Roamers. Cold bodies. There have been many terms for zombies in the shared universe of "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead," and tonight, the latter show introduced a new word.

After Chris steals supplies from a young group of (supposed) campers from San Diego, he and his father, Travis, eventually hitch a ride with them to the next town. While seated around a campfire, everyone shares their experiences with the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. The campers admit that when they first saw the undead, they didn't think they were undead at all; just severely intoxicated. So they call them The Wasted.

While that admittedly sounds like a bad nu-metal band, the intentionally humorous moment also adds a little depth to the world of "Fear the Walking Dead." Even though we're so used to hearing the term "walker" on its parent show, it makes sense that the undead would be called different things in different parts of the world. So that begs the question: what would you call reanimated corpses in the event of a zombie apocalypse? Let us know in the comments.
