DC Comics' 1985-1986 story "Crisis on Infinite Earths" is widely considered one of the most influential event series in superhero comics history, and fans now have the chance to own a healthy chunk of the original art from the first issue -- but you'll have to act fast.

Drew Curtis, founder of news aggregator Fark.com and a current candidate for governor of Kentucky, has placed 10 pages -- nine individual items, one of which is a double-page spread -- of original art from the Marv Wolfman-written "Crisis on Infinite Earths" #1 by George Perez and Dick Giordano for auction on Heritage Auctions (found via Boing Boing). But don't waste time if you're interested -- at press time, each auction had only a little more than four hours left.
