Aquaman has long been the butt of jokes for fans of DC Comics (just look at his terrible children's variety show). But after 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" arrives in theaters, the jokes will end, says star Jason Momoa.

The "Game of Thrones" and "Red Road" Vet took the stage at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto to talk up the part, and Screen Relish's Jonathan Encarnacion loaded a clip of the actor's appearance to YouTube focusing on the serious and dangerous nature of his take on the Sea King.

"It's cute and funny, people make fun of him, there's a bunch of jokes about him, but I'm like, 'Just wait. Let's just wait a little bit, and then you can make jokes,'" the actor said while still keeping things close to the chest on film specifics.

Stay tuned for more from Fan Expo all weekend on CBR.
