TNT will keep the sky falling for at least one more year.

Variety reports the cable network has ordered a fourth season of Falling Skies, the alien-invasion drama produced by Steven Spielberg and starring Noah Wylie. The series halfway through its third season; 10 more episodes for the series have been ordered, and will begin rolling out next summer.

Falling Skies takes place after a global alien invasion brings mankind to the brink of extinction. Leading the resistance against the invading mechs, skitters and overlords is Tom Mason, a former army captain and college professor who puts his experience and knowledge of military history to effective use against the extraterrestrial threat.

The sci-fi drama airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TNT.
