UPDATE 2/3/2017 5:45 PM ET: A representative for 20th Century Fox has reached out to CBR to state that the Berlin Film Festival's extended "Logan" synopsis is "totally made-up." It has since been removed from the Berlin Film Festival's website, and has been removed from this article at the request of 20th Century Fox.
The studio's official synopsis for "Logan" reads as follows: "In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces."
Original story, published 2/3/2017 9:16 AM ET: We've learned a lot about "Logan" over the last few weeks. With its premiere just a short ways away, more information about the film's characters has been revealed. We've learned why Mister Sinister isn't in the film and if X-23 (Dafne Keen) is intended to get a franchise of her own. All questions will be answered once the film hits theaters next month -- even sooner for people able to attend "Logan's" premiere at the Berlin Film Festival.

The film will debut on February 17 at the festival, and the website's listing for the film includes new information about Wolverine's third and final feature film. In addition to revealing the film's runtime (135 minutes), the page also includes a new, extended synopsis for the James Mangold film.
