Earlier this week, Marvel unveiled a new cover by comics legend Jim Steranko, his first work for the publisher in years. To end the week on a high note, CBR has the exclusive reveal of another new cover by Steranko -- also featuring the Steve Rogers versions of Captain America.

The image hasn't yet been assigned to a specific Marvel release, but in this week's AXEL-IN-CHARGE, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso confirmed that Steranko will illustrate a year's worth of Captain America variants to commemorate the character's 75th anniversary.

"On the Mt. Rushmore of comic book artists, Steranko is just to the left of Kirby," Alonso told CBR. "His narrative innovations -- he's had such an indelible impact on our industry and the way we compose pages and tell stories."
