EXCLUSIVE: Samnee, Mack and More Contribute to Dark Circle's "The Fox" #1

Before "Archie" relaunches in 2015, "The Fox" gets a new #1 in April -- here's a look at covers and solicits for that issue and "Black Hood" #2.

Archie Comics started the week with the major news that the flagship "Archie" series will relaunch in the new year with the A-list creative team of writer Mark Waid and artist Fiona Staples. But that's not the only 2015 Archie Comics #1 that Waid will be involved in -- he's also re-teaming with writer/artist Dean Haspiel for a new volume of "The Fox," as part of Archie's rebranded superhero line, Dark Circle Comics. CBR has the exclusive first look at variant covers from the issue by Chris Samnee & Matt Wilson, David Mack, Ulises Farinas & Ryan Hill and Thomas Pitilli, plus the solicitation text of the April-debuting issue -- and covers and solicitations for Dark Circle's "Black Hood" #2, scheduled for release in March.

"Dark Circle was handed a great head start when Dean Haspiel and Mark Waid signed up for another round of high-flyin' Fox mayhem and hijinks," Dark Circle Comics line editor and Archie Comics SVP of Publicity and Marketing Alex Segura said in a statement to CBR.
