When it debuted in October, IDW Publishing's all-new "Samurai Jack" comic gave fans of Genndy Tartakovsky's fondly-remembered Cartoon Network classic a chance to return to the world of the stoic titular warrior as he continues to battle the time-tossed threat of the demon wizard known as Aku. Today, CBR presents an exclusive first look at the limited edition subscription variant cover for the title's fifth issue, illustrated by Jack's creator.

"Jack is a classic hero -- upstanding, forthright, honest and courageous -- who's been exiled to a future that's unlike anything he could have imagined," series writer Jim Zub told CBR when the title was first announced. "I think the contrast of that old world heroism slamming up against the strange and surreal world he's been thrust in to is a winning combination."

Check out the variant cover and solicitation information for the final issue of the first "Samurai Jack" arc below, and check back later this week for IDW's full solicitations for February 2014!
