DC Comics' Channel 52 features an intriguing teaser image in this week's releases, and CBR has the exclusive first advance look, which should get fans of DC's The Dark group of comics talking. Drawn by Howard Porter the two-page spread showcases a number of characters from DC's Dark books, accompanied only by the caption "Abandon all hope and enter into the dark." Featured in the image are the Trinity of Sin -- Pandora, The Phantom Stranger and The Question -- Etrigan, Amethyst, The Spectre, Swamp Thing, Socks the cat, Black Orchid, Sargon the Sorceress, Nightmare Nurse and members of Justice League Dark -- including John Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman, Madame Xanadu and Frankenstein.

The biggest odd-man-out doesn't even fully appear on the image. Aquaman seems to be drowning in the water alongside the boat, and considering his elevated status in the DC Universe and his central role in "Rise of the Seven Seas" -- the next big "Justice League" storyline -- it's possible that he'll have a more significant role in the DC Universe moving forward across the board.

Other notable pieces of the image include Swamp Thing equipped with Aquaman's trident, a distinct lack of Animal Man and his daughter Maxine, Etrigan's new color scheme, Amethyst coming back and the Larfleeze-ish orange tint to the snake surrounding Constantine and the Question taking a prominent placement in the image.
