Each week, AXEL-IN-CHARGE, CBR's regular Q&A with Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso, includes the exclusive debut of new art from upcoming Marvel releases.

This week's installment included a first look at pages from "Civil War II" #2 by David Marquez and Justin Ponsor, "All-New, All-Different Avengers" #11 by Mahmud Asrar and Dave McCaig, and "Uncanny X-Men" #9 by Ken Lashley.

"As in the original 'Civil War, readers will have no choice but to take a side," Alonso told CBR, "and there will be developments in the story that will challenge their convictions. If you've already joined 'Team Tony' or 'Team Carol,' you are in for a ride. This story touches upon, metaphorically, things that are going on in our society right now, and it addresses more than one; the tie-in series open up a Pandora's Box of questions not raised in the core series."

In addition, we unveiled Adam Kubert's Captain America 75th-anniversary variant for "Spider-Man/Deadpool" #6.
