The celebrated Mondo Gallery in Austin will end 2015 with the Marvel-inspired exhibition "Snikt. Bamf. Thwip: A Celebration of Marvel Comics," with an opening set for Dec. 11. CBR has the exclusive first look at one of the images from the show, the Oscar Wilde-referencing "We Are Each Our Own Devil" by artist Matthew Woodson, featuring Daredevil on top of a Hell's Kitchen water tower and accompanied by a variant edition.

"It's probably no surprise that the Marvel Comics universe holds a special place in every Mondoer's heart," Mondo Creative Director/Co-Founder Mitch Putnam said in a statement. "These characters inspired us, helped to shape who we are, and taught us life lessons that stuck with us forever (our own Eric Garza still pretty much thinks he's Wolverine)."

Other artists participating in what Mondo dubs a "mega poster event" include Becky Cloonan, Mike Mitchell and Francesco Francavilla, each with Marvel-themed original screen prints debuting at the exhibition. Woodson's art is also used for the postcard promoting the show:

"Snikt. Bamf. Thwip: A Celebration of Marvel Comics" opens on the night of Dec. 11, and runs through Dec. 19 at the Mondo Gallery on 4115 Guadalupe St. in Austin, Texas.
