This week sees the release of "Justice League/Power Rangers" #1, the opening issue of a miniseries uniting the two super-groups in a crossover between DC Comics and BOOM! Studios. The next DC/BOOM! team-up is less than a month away, with the scheduled release of "Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" on Feb. 1 -- and CBR has the first look at five covers from the third issue of that series, April's "Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" #3.

"Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" is co-written by Robbie Thompson ("Silk") and Justin Jordan ("Luther Strode"), and illustrated by Barnaby Bagenda, of DC's acclaimed "Omega Men" series. The five covers for issue #3, scheduled for release on April 12, include a main cover by BOOM! all-star Dan Mora, plus a movie poster variant (referencing the poster to 1971's "Escape from the Planet of the Apes," the third film in the original franchise) by E.M. Gist, a Silver Age variant (paying homage to Neal Adams' classic 1970 cover to "Green Lantern/Green Arrow" #76) by Paul Rivoche, a Red Lanterns-centric spectrum variant cover by Felipe Massafera and an action figure variant by David Ryan Robinson.

"Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" is scheduled for release on Feb. 1, with issue #2 on March 8 and #3 on April 12.
