With Marvel’s post-“Fear Itself” miniseries “The Fearless” well underway to critical acclaim and positive fan response, Marvel has provided CBR with an exclusive look at Mark Bagley’s pencils for “The Fearless” #7. OOffering a glimpse into the title’s midway point developments, Bagley’s art shows Wolverine facing off against Crossbones, the man who was once believed to have killed Captain America and the boyfriend of the Red Skull’s daughter Syn. Since the beginning of “The Fearless,” Syn, who set the events of “Fear Itself” into motion, has been searching for the hammers of the Chosen, lost in the aftermath of the Marvel event. The discovery of the latest hammer appears to be at the crux of the mutant vs mercenary confrontation, with a third party, Daimon Hellstrom, Son of Satan, appearing to be the true victor.
Issue #7 of the bi-weekly series is set to hit stores in late January 2012 and features the creative team of writers Matt Fraction, Cullen Bunn and Chris Yost with art by Bagley and Paul Pelletier.
