Fan excitement last year over The Complete Zenith!, collecting the lost 1980s superhero saga by Grant Morrison and Steve Yeowell, was tempered both by the unresolved rights dispute and the roughly $150 price tag for the limited edition (still, the 1,000-copy print run sold out). However, as promised, Rebellion is preparing to release four non-limited hardcovers collecting the entire story -- and it has provided ROBOT 6 with an exclusive first look at their interlocking covers.

As PR Coordinator Michael Molcher told CBR News in December, Rebellion didn't initially intend to publish anything beyond the limited edition. "But the huge response was overwhelming -- it was the first 2000 AD title to ever sell out so quickly and the demand for more has been unceasing," he said. "We've had a lot of requests from people who either couldn't afford the complete volume in one go or were too late to secure their copy, so releasing the story in its individual parts -- or Phases -- so that readers can see how the story and, just as importantly, the art develops over the course of the series."

Each of the four volumes, sporting cover art by Yeowell and a trade design by Pye Parr, is expected to retail in North America for $25. Zenith: Phase One arrives Oct. 21, followed by Zenith: Phase Two on Dec. 2.
