Dark Horse Comics' September solicitations revealed an intriguing graphic novel: "Plants Vs. Zombies: Lawnmageddon" written by Paul Tobin with art by Ron Chan. Based on the popular "Plants vs. Zombies" video game by PopCap Games, the solicitation teased a collection of "all 'Plants vs. Zombies' digital comics' -- but there haven't ever been any officially licensed "Plants vs. Zombies" comics, digital or otherwise.
However, Dark Horse shed some light on the situation when contacted by CBR, revealing "Lawnmageddon" as a digital series for "Plants vs. Zombies" that will be collected into the solicited hardcover. More details will be available on Dark Horse's Newsfeed later today. The publisher will have the first issue in print as an exclusive at Comic-Con International 2013.
