SPOILER WARNING: the following story and video contains spoilers for the February 18 episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

When viewers tune in to tonight's "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," half of the team is captured or injured in Cold War Russia, the other half is attempting to rescue them, and Prof. Stein is... creating Firestorm with "The Flash's" Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes)?

In a CBR-exclusive clip from "Fail-Safe," Stein is working with the Team Flash member on the Firestorm formula, but something's not quite right. Is this an alternate timeline, a different Earth, or some sort of illusion perpetrated by Valentina Vostok in an effort to crack the secrets of the Firestorm Matrix for the U.S.S.R.?

THE TEAM ORCHESTRATES A PRISON BREAK - After some of the Legends are captured and thrown into a Russian gulag during the height of the Cold War of 1986, Snart (Wentworth Miller) leads the team in an elaborate escape plan to free their comrades. However, Rip (Arthur Darvill) gives Sara (Caity Lotz) a secret side mission that could prove not only to be a liability, but fatal to the team. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Grainne Godfree (#105). Original airdate 2/18/16.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" airs Thursday nights at 8 pm EST on The CW.
