Marvel Comics has provided CBR with a first look at John Tyler Christopher's variant cover for "Spider-Man 2099" #3, which gets up-close and personal with a costumed Miguel O'Hara. The issue, written by Peter David with art by Will Sliney, promises a conflict between Miguel O'Hara, Scorpion and the Spider Slayers.

"He sees this as an opportunity to try and reshape Alchemax so it will not be the heartless, destructive corporation that it becomes," David said of the series protagonist in March. "He plans to do this in two ways: to work within the company to steer it, and to affect his grandfather Tiberius Stone so that he won't be such a raging douchebag, and thus result in Tyler Stone being a more decent individual. He is literally a man with a mission."
