Batman and Harley Quinn have been a thorn in each other's side since the popular anti-villain first debuted as the Joker's main squeeze on Batman: The Animated Series. However, despite crossing paths dozens, possibly hundreds of times since then, the pair have never really gotten to know each other quite like they do in CBR's exclusive scene from their new film, Batman and Harley Quinn.

The new animated movie, available now on BLu-ray, DVD and Digital Download, is essentially a return to the classic Timmverse which housed Batman: TAS, Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited, albeit with a slightly more adult approach. The language is a little saltier, and Harley and Nightwing, Batman's longtime sidekick, get a little... romantic as the story progresses.

In our scene, however, Harley's acting more like a teenager than a full-grown supervillain. not only does she find herself suing in the back of the Batmobile, she's also hushed by Batman's dad-hand gestures, and when she won't listen, he threatens to "turn this car around," though rather than take her home, the GCPD's local station is the promised location for her drop-off.

The Floronic Man) embarking on an ecological quest to save the planet – and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley’s BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman’s patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before.
